Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the GhostWorld Discord application ("the Bot"), operated by Ghost World Gaming ("we", "us"), collects and how we use it. The Bot runs inside the Ghost World Gaming Discord server to post release announcements and to turn community bug reports into tracked issues.
What we collect
- Content you submit. When you create a post in a bug-report channel, the Bot reads the post title and message text so it can file a corresponding issue in our private development tracker.
- Discord identifiers. Your Discord username and user ID, and the channel/thread/message IDs and timestamps associated with content you submit, so we can attribute and link back to the original report.
- Server interactions. Slash-command usage and similar events needed to operate the Bot.
The Bot does not read or store the general content of channels it is not acting on, and it does not collect message history beyond what is needed to process a report or command.
How we use it
- To create and track bug reports and feature requests in our self-hosted issue tracker (Gitea), including a link back to the originating Discord post.
- To operate server features such as release announcements.
- To respond to, prioritize, and follow up on reports you submit.
How it is shared and stored
- Report content and the associated Discord username/ID are stored in our private, self-hosted Gitea instance, accessible only to the Ghost World Gaming development team.
- We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
- Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
Retention
Report content is retained for as long as the related issue is useful for development and support history. You may ask us to remove a specific report and its associated identifiers; where reasonable and not required for an open issue, we will do so.
Your choices
- Don't submit information you don't want stored in a development tracker.
- To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data tied to your Discord account, contact us (below).
Children
The Bot is not directed to children under the minimum age required to use Discord in your country. Do not use it if you are below that age.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Bot evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
